Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Hosts Ramadan Iftar Banquet

Islamabad: Saudi Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Nawaf Al-Malki, hosted a Ramadan iftar banquet in Islamabad. The event was attended by several officials, including Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, representing President Asif Ali Zardari.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Malki extended his congratulations to the attendees on the commencement of Ramadan, highlighting the robust and enduring relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. He stated that the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, places considerable importance on its relationship with Pakistan.

Pakistani officials reciprocated by expressing their gratitude to the Kingdom's leadership. They praised Saudi Arabia's role in fostering unity within the Muslim world and its contributions to regional and international security and stability. The officials also acknowledged the Kingdom's supportive stance toward Pakistan and its people during challenging times.
