The lecture focused on the pivotal role of Saudi identity in shaping the Kingdom's public diplomacy. According to Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador Al-Muallami emphasized that the Kingdom's national identity is a cornerstone of its approach to presenting a balanced global image that intertwines its rich cultural heritage with the innovative initiatives driving its modern progress. Al-Muallami underscored the strategic use of Saudi cultural identity as a means to deepen global understanding, forge alliances, and showcase the country's diversity and advancements. 'One of the most remarkable examples of soft power,' she noted, 'is the large number of Saudi students studying at leading Canadian universities under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program. These students excel academically, contribute to research, and promo te cultural dialogue, enriching their host communities with perspectives from the Kingdom.' The ambassador indicated that these efforts are part of the Kingdom's vision to enhance its position as a major player on the global stage through soft power based on values and culture. This contributes to achieving more positive interactions with other peoples and establishing strong relations with various countries.
