Saturn Conjoins Ramadan Crescent, Adorning Skies of Northern Borders

The skies over northern borders region: witnessed a striking astronomical display this evening, as Saturn appeared in conjunction with the crescent moon on the third night of Ramadan, shortly after sunset. The phenomenon attracted the attention of astronomy enthusiasts.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the crescent appeared brighter along the western horizon, in close visual alignment with Saturn. Clear skies and an open horizon enhanced visibility, allowing the conjunction to be observed with the naked eye.

Astronomy and Space Club member Adnan Khalifa said that the conjunction of the moon with Saturn is a recurring astronomical phenomenon that can be observed relatively easily, particularly in areas characterized by clear skies and low light pollution. He added that such events provide astronomy enthusiasts with an ideal opportunity to observe and track celestial bodies.
