Riyadh: The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) licensed 'Darb Pay for Information Technology' to provide e-wallet solutions. With Darb Pay for Information Technology, there are now 28 licensed companies offering payment services in Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this decision reflects SAMA's endeavor to support and enable the payments sector, increase the efficiency and flexibility of financial transactions, and promote innovation in the financial services provided, with the aim of enhancing financial inclusion and expanding access to financial services for all segments of society.
