Sakaka: The second Sakaka dates festival concluded yesterday with an awards ceremony. Organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's branch in Al-Jouf, the five-day event featured 30 farmers, 18 families working in the cottage industry, and various government entities, attracting visitors regionally and beyond.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the festival also included entertainment, agricultural activities for children, and a showcase of Al-Jouf cuisine. The ceremony recognized the winners of the largest date bunch awards and distributed prizes to audience members, media professionals, and store owners.
In its second year, the festival aimed to support farmers, promote Al-Jouf dates, and explore new marketing opportunities.
