Russia Team Wins First Place in 400-Meter Relay at World Fire and Rescue Championship

Riyadh: The Russian team won first place in the 400-meter relay race for both men's and women's categories during the third day of the 2025 World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport, held at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City Track in Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the victory came after the Russian team recorded times of 54.73 seconds in the men's category and 59.99 seconds in the women's category, amid fierce competition from other teams and a large, enthusiastic crowd.

The championship - held for the first time with the participation of 22 countries - will conclude tomorrow with the combat deployment event, marking the end of the global competition organized by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defense in cooperation with the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers (ISFFR).
