Riyadh: The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) and the Principality of Riyadh Region will organize a 'Tour of Al-Hukm Palace' event on September 22-23, in conjunction with the 95th National Day. The event highlights the palace, its heritage and symbolism in national history, as it has stood for more than two centuries as a witness to the political and civilizational development of the Saudi state. It served as the seat of governance and administration and as a place where citizens met with their leaders, from the era of Imam Turki bin Abdullah Al Saud to the era of the founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, who resided in the palace for nearly three decades.

According to Saudi Press Agency, on rare occasions, the event allows visitors to the palace to tour its halls and wings, which include an office for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, an office for the Governor of Riyadh Region, a grand reception hall and adjoining lounges, a main dining hall, various chambers, and other landmarks that combine the authenticity of the past with the vibrancy of the present. Dedicated photography areas have been set up to allow visitors to document their unique experience and their tour of the palace's historic corridors.

The event represents an affirmation of the commitment of the RCRC and the Principality of Riyadh Region to enhancing awareness of the capital's history and reinforcing the values of belonging and pride in national identity, with a focus on the leadership figures who contributed to its renaissance.
