Roads Authority and SASCO Collaborate to Enhance Pilgrim Services for Hajj Season

Riyadh: The Roads General Authority and the Saudi Automotive Services Company (SASCO) have entered into a significant partnership to improve services for pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season. This collaboration is aimed at bolstering private sector involvement and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to those undertaking the sacred journey.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the memorandum of understanding signed between the two entities is set to remain effective until the end of July. This agreement is in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to enhance infrastructure and the overall experience of road users throughout the Kingdom.

A key focus of this partnership is to enhance traffic safety and vehicle services on critical roads. Pilgrims will benefit from the ability to request emergency road services via the 938 call center. The Roads General Authority emphasized its regulatory role in creating policies and legislation that ensure the roads sector effectively supports the logistics of Hajj and Umrah.

In addition to these measures, the deployment of advanced technologies will play a crucial role in optimizing traffic flow during the peak Hajj season. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to position the Kingdom as a leading global logistics hub while providing specialized care and a safe, comfortable experience for pilgrims.
