Riyadh: The General Department of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior achieved a new medical milestone by performing the first kidney transplant at Security Forces Hospital in Riyadh, as part of the hospital's organ transplant program. The successful operation was performed on a 32-year-old patient suffering from kidney failure, who received a kidney donated by his 35-year-old sister after completing thorough medical examinations confirming compatibility. The procedure was carried out by a multidisciplinary medical and surgical team, and both the donor and recipient are in stable condition, receiving necessary medical care.
