Riyadh: The Global Health Exhibition will feature the return of the NextGen Pitch Competition from October 27 to 30, 2025, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, Riyadh. Under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and supported by the Health Sector Transformation Program, the event is organized by Tahaluf, a joint venture between the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, the Events Investment Fund, and Informa PLC.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the competition serves as a platform for the world's most promising emerging health technology companies. It aims to connect innovators with capital, expertise, and market access to empower startups to achieve global leadership in the sector.

Projects specializing in digital health, medical technology, biotechnology, life sciences, public health, and clinical innovation are invited to participate, with a focus on enhancing healthcare access, promoting equality, and advancing preventive care.

A panel of industry experts will evaluate the projects, with the grand prize set at SAR100,000 and opportunities for the winning startup to enhance its regional presence. Twenty companies will be shortlisted for the final competition.

The Global Health Exhibition will also host the Venture Forum on the second and fourth days, providing startups with access to Saudi Arabia's healthcare investment landscape. The fourth day will focus on procurement, showcasing sustainable purchasing models and supply chain solutions.

This eighth edition of the Global Health Exhibition coincides with the Kingdom's rapid economic growth, positioning it as a hub for attracting startup investments in the region. In the first half of 2025, venture capital reached $860 million, a 116% increase compared to the same period in 2024, surpassing total funding for the entire previous year.
