Riyadh: Under the patronage of Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi, the fifth edition of the Labor Award ceremony for private sector establishments will be held in Riyadh on Tuesday. This event coincides with the third edition of the Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC) on January 26-27, 2026.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the award recognizes establishments that adopt best practices in workplace excellence, thereby enhancing competitiveness and employee retention. Over 216,000 establishments are competing for 38 awards across five tracks, including Saudization, work environment, occupational health and safety, and skills and training. Over one million employees participated in the nomination surveys for eligible establishments.
Since its launch in 2021, the award has honored 99 distinguished establishments, underscoring its positive impact on motivating the private sector to enhance work environments and achieve excellence.
The Labor Award employs a methodology that ensures inclusivity, allowing all types of entities to compete according to their capabilities. It serves as a platform to acknowledge excellence in localization, workplace quality, safety, training, and leadership.
