Riyadh: Mayor of the Riyadh Region and Chairman of the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI), Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, held a meeting in his office with Bader Wael Al-Askar, the newly appointed Secretary-General of the Arab Towns Organization.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Dr. Faisal extended his congratulations to Al-Askar on his new role and expressed his wishes for the Secretary-General's success in his responsibilities. The Mayor emphasized the critical need to enhance the Arab Cities Organization's influence in response to rapid urban changes and the evolving aspirations of Arab cities. He highlighted the need for the organization to adopt a strategic approach to its programs, initiatives, and priorities, aiming to achieve significant impacts and maximize benefits for urban areas.
