Riyadh: Riyadh Municipality is participating in the Global Industry Summit, serving as the 21st Session of the General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Organization (UNIDO), hosted in the Saudi capital.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the summit runs from November 23-27, with representatives from 173 member states, and features various events that bring together industry leaders, international organizations, and private-sector executives.
The summit highlights emerging trends in industrial policy, industrial transformation, innovation, artificial intelligence, sustainable supply chains, women and youth empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
The program features thematic days focusing on investment and industrial partnerships, women's empowerment in industry, and the future generation, alongside ministerial sessions and dialogue events aimed at strengthening industrial cooperation and supporting sustainable innovation.
