Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center Wins Global Planning Process Award

Riyadh: The Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center has been honored with the Planning Process Award for its outstanding project on the mechanism for approving new master plans. This recognition came during the 61st World Planning Congress of the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP), which took place in Riyadh from December 1 to 4. The award acknowledges the center’s successful implementation of infrastructure projects throughout the region.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the achievement of the 2025 Planning Process Award underscores the center’s role as a leading model in urban infrastructure planning. The awarded project demonstrates a collaborative and innovative approach that fosters a significant transformation in planning and executing projects in Riyadh. By unifying efforts and enhancing integration among various entities, the initiative aims to improve infrastructure services and elevate the quality of life for both residents and visitors in Riyadh and its governorates.
