Riyadh: On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of the Riyadh Region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, attended an awards ceremony to honor the winners of the 26th King Salman Local Quran Competition. The event took place on Monday evening at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh and celebrated the achievements in the memorization, recitation, and interpretation of the Holy Quran.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ceremony was organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. Prince Faisal was welcomed at the venue by key figures, including Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh and Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan.
During his speech at the event, Prince Faisal expressed a sense of pride and honor associated with the award, which is named after the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
