Riyadh: The Riyadh First Health Cluster launched a series of specialized health initiatives in collaboration with its government and charitable partners as part of the 'Hajj with Good Health' campaign, aiming to ensure a safe and healthy Hajj for pilgrims.
According to Saudi Press Agency, among its key initiatives is the 'Pilgrims' Health Tent 2025' project, launched at the Qiddiya pilgrim reception center. The annual initiative is designed to raise awareness and promote health among pilgrims as they pass through Riyadh on their way to the holy sites.
The initiative focuses on preparing pilgrims physically and educationally for Hajj by offering preventive and educational services, including the distribution of awareness brochures, initial health screenings, and immediate medical consultations provided by health professionals.
As part of the center's services, the cluster activated an initiative targeting bus drivers and pilgrims traveling along the Makkah highway. It includes comprehensive health checks and preventive guidance to ensure their safe arrival at the holy sites. Also, a 24/7 health consultation hotline was launched, along with the distribution of educational gifts to beneficiaries. These initiatives reflect the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing the pilgrim experience from arrival to departure.
The Riyadh First Health Cluster reaffirmed its dedication to placing pilgrims' health at the center of its mission, ensuring that the Hajj season continues to serve as a global model for excellence in healthcare services.
