Doha: The General Authority for Awqaf's Riyadah Center participated in the second World Summit for Social Development in Qatar, organized from November 4 to 6 by the United Nations Development Program.
According to Saudi Press Agency, at a dedicated pavilion, the Riyadah Center showcased its Awqaf Excellence Index, detailing its main components, objectives, and anticipated global impact. The index is a pioneering Saudi initiative designed to be the first comprehensive global standard for institutional excellence in Awqaf (endowments) management.
It aims to transform endowments into a major economic engine and maximize its social and developmental impact through unified standards of trust, transparency, and excellence.
The center's participation underscores the Kingdom's efforts to enhance its international contribution toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
