RIPC Concludes Participation in Smart City Expo World Congress, Named Among Top Four in Governance and Economy

Barcelona: The Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC) concluded its participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 (SCEWC), held in Barcelona from November 4 to 6. The event drew more than 25,000 attendees and more than 1,150 exhibitors, with representatives from over 850 cities and 135 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the participation culminated with RIPC being recognized among the top four finalists worldwide for the Governance and Economy Award at the World Smart City Awards for its 'Road Resurfacing Governance' initiative. This recognition reflects Riyadh's effort to improve infrastructure delivery through institutional integration among service providers.

RIPC stated that the participation underscores Riyadh's adoption of smart, sustainable solutions. It also supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve quality of life, enhance urban project efficiency, and reinforce the city's global standing in smart urban development.
