Religious Affairs Presidency Urges Visitors of Two Holy Mosques to Observe Friday Etiquette

Tokyo: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque: called on visitors of the Two Holy Mosques, residents and pilgrims alike, to adhere to the etiquette of Friday, reflect on its religious significance, and honor its rituals in a manner that enhances humility and attentiveness on this day.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the presidency emphasized the importance of arriving early for prayer, listening attentively to the Friday sermon, maintaining cleanliness and purity, embodying calmness and dignity, and avoiding anything that distracts from remembrance and supplication. It stressed that adhering to Friday etiquette reflects reverence for the rituals of Allah and fulfills the objectives of worship on this great day.

It noted that these guidelines fall within its advisory role to enhance religious awareness among visitors to the Two Holy Mosques and to prepare a spiritual environment that helps them worship with tranquility and devotion, in a way that aligns with the sanctity of place and time.

The presidency also called on all worshippers to seize the virtue of this blessed day by increasing remembrance and supplication, and by adhering to approved instructions and regulations, contributing to the safety and comfort of worshippers, and enhancing the quality of religious services provided at the Two Holy Mosques.
