Religious Affairs Presidency Urges Observance of Friday Etiquette at Two Holy Mosques

Mecca: The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has called on worshippers and pilgrims visiting the Two Holy Mosques to observe the etiquette of Friday, reflect on its religious significance, and venerate its rituals in a manner that fosters reverence and focus.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the presidency emphasized the importance of arriving early for prayer, listening attentively to the sermon, maintaining ritual purity, and cultivating tranquility and dignity. It stressed the need to avoid anything that might distract from remembrance and supplication, noting that adhering to the etiquette of Friday reflects reverence for Allah's rites and fulfills the objectives of worship.

The presidency stated that these guidelines are part of its guidance mission aimed at enhancing religious awareness among visitors to the Two Holy Mosques and creating a conducive atmosphere for worship. This enables them to perform their acts of devotion with peace and reverence, in accordance with the sanctity of the place and time. The presidency also called on all worshippers to adhere to instructions and regulations to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone and enhance the quality of religious services provided in the Two Holy Mosques.
