Madinah: The Madinah Award Foundation announced the opening of registration today for the first Madinah Arts Award, a cultural initiative aimed at providing a platform for artists to showcase the historical and cultural significance of Madinah through visual art.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the award is open to both Saudi and resident artists in the Kingdom. It seeks to promote the role of visual arts in societal development and to deepen cultural awareness. While the inaugural edition focuses on visual arts, future editions will expand to include Arabic calligraphy, fine art, photography, digital drawing, and graffiti.
The initiative is designed to foster creative skills and empower artists to produce works of both aesthetic and expressive value.
