The Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program (Reef Saudi) concluded its training program on mangrove honey production in the Eastern Region. The event was attended by farmers, beekeepers, and honey production experts. The training took place in Al Qatif Governorate and was part of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Eastern Region branch's initiative to improve sustainable rural agricultural development. Its goal was to increase awareness about beekeeping practices and the production of high-quality mangrove honey, thus improving the living conditions of coastal communities; it also aimed to promote the sustainable use of mangrove forests. The training program covered various topics, including the benefits of organic honey, beekeeping, transitioning to organic beekeeping, and modern techniques to increase honey production.
