Jeddah: The education and capacity building team at Red Sea Global, a Public Investment Fund company, organized an awareness and sporting event on the Jeddah waterfront to mark World Environment Day. The event was held in partnership with Jeddah Municipality and saw the participation of around 300 students from Batterjee College and the Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies. This initiative is part of the company's ongoing efforts to instill environmental awareness among younger generations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event featured interactive activities, including cycling and roller skating, designed to encourage environmentally friendly transportation. The activities saw the participation of several relevant entities, further enhancing the event's impact and outreach.
The initiative is part of Red Sea Global's broader programs aimed at preparing a generation that is more aware of environmental issues. It seeks to empower young people to contribute positively to their communities.
