Riyadh: The art of recycling was showcased at IFAT Saudi Arabia 2026 in Riyadh through artworks repurposing used metals, delivering visual messages that promote sustainability and environmental awareness.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the artists demonstrated how art can transform metal waste into creative materials carrying environmental and cultural messages, contributing to the promotion of circular economy concepts through visual expression.

Artist Dareen Saleh told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that recycling art is an effective way to convey environmental messages simply and impactfully, noting that working with repurposed materials raises awareness about consumption and the environment.

Meanwhile, artist Dana Al-Humaidan emphasized that art made from recycled materials goes beyond aesthetics, acting as an educational tool to raise community awareness of recycling and sustainability, especially among youth.
