Riyadh: The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) concluded the second edition of the 'Real Estate Brokerage Forum 2025,' held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in the capital with the attendance of REGA Chief Executive Officer Eng. Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in his opening remarks at the forum, REGA Director-General of Strategic Communication and official spokesperson Taiseer bin Mohammed Al-Mufarrej highlighted the achievements of the Real Estate Brokerage System since its implementation. He noted that the system brought about a fundamental transformation in the sector by turning brokerage into a licensed profession governed by regulations, with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
Al-Mufarrej stated that over the two years since the implementation of the Real Estate Brokerage System (from July 18, 2023, to July 18, 2025), REGA has achieved several positive indicators in the sector. These include a total transaction value of around SAR1.2 trillion from more than eight million real-estate deals, and the licensing of over 86,000 individuals to practice real-estate brokerage, according to REGA's spokesperson.
He added that 75 digital real-estate platforms have been licensed, featuring over 685,000 approved listings. Al-Mufarrej emphasized that these figures reflect the scale of the Saudi real-estate market and the confidence of both local and international investors.
