RCU, Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Sign MoU for Environmental Cooperation

Riyadh: The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority to strengthen collaboration on environmental topics.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the partnership will focus on advancing best practices in public development towards biodiversity conservation, environmental sustainability, and community engagement among the people of AlUla. This initiative aims to contribute to a robust national framework for the protection of natural resources.

The MoU supports the exchange of institutional expertise between the two sides across biodiversity conservation and social affairs management, which support national development. This aligns with both parties' shared commitment to advancing local action and national development.

The MoU covers collaboration among relevant, specialized government entities and supports frameworks dedicated to biodiversity protection and integrated sustainability, in line with AlUla's Vision, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
