Riyadh: The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has announced the launch of an investment tender for naming rights to five main stations in the Riyadh Metro project. The stations included in this initial offer are Al-Murooj, Al-Nuzha, King Fahd District 1, Al-Rabie, and Jarir District, with contracts spanning a duration of 10 years.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the commission has invited both local and international private sector investors to participate in this opportunity, adhering to specific regulations and standards that align with major global public transport projects. The RCRC aims to attract a diverse range of companies to bring innovative branding to the metro network.
The process for submitting bids will commence through the Furas platform starting Wednesday, April 8, 2026, and will continue until Sunday, May 10, 2026. After the bidding period closes, applications will be reviewed, and the winning companies will be announced, followed by the awarding of contracts.
Securing naming rights for these metro stations offers private sector companies, including financial institutions and brands, a unique opportunity to enhance their visibility and establish a marketing identity within the region's largest public transport project. Companies will benefit from advertising opportunities in strategic locations with high commercial activity and ridership levels, including signage boards, elevator and escalator areas, and ticket gates.
