Al-baha: Raghadan Forest in Al-Baha Region has witnessed a notable influx of residents and visitors during Ramadan, particularly with the start of the holiday. Many gather to enjoy iftar amid nature and the misty atmosphere that characterizes the region's highlands.

According to Saudi Press Agency, families arrive before the Maghrib call to prayer and gather in seating areas spread across the forest. They share iftar meals on the green spaces and under the shade of trees, reflecting the spirit of harmony and closeness that characterizes the holy month. Visitors also make use of facilities prepared for families and picnickers.

Raghadan Forest is one of the most prominent natural tourist destinations in Al-Baha Region. It lies on the slopes of the Sarawat Mountains west of the city at an elevation exceeding 1,700 meters above sea level. The location offers a moderate climate and panoramic views of the Sarawat Mountains and the Tihama plains.

The forest is largely covered with ancient juniper trees and spans about 483,000 square meters. It includes green spaces, walking paths, seating areas, and service facilities, making it a natural retreat and a year-round destination for families and visitors.

The forest also hosts recreational activities, designated areas for picnicking and camping, as well as seasonal events and festivals that promote tourism in the region and provide visitors with a complete experience combining nature and recreation.
