The Quality of Life Program, one of the initiatives aimed at realizing Saudi Vision 2030, participated in the 12th Gulf Municipal Works Conference held in Riyadh from October 6 to 8, 2024. The conference featured the participation of a distinguished group of officials in the field of municipal work from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The program’s participation aimed to showcase achievements aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to improve the quality of life in the Kingdom by developing infrastructure and adopting modern technologies in municipal work.
At its pavilion in the exhibition accompanying the conference, the Quality of Life Program highlighted its accomplishments in improving the urban landscape in Saudi cities and its contribution to achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This was demonstrated through various initiatives that promote sustainability principles, enhance urban well-being, and contribute to building strong infrastructure, fo
stering sustainable manufacturing, and encouraging innovation to achieve inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
The program also highlighted several recent achievements in collaboration with government entities implementing its initiatives. These include increasing green spaces and public facilities to enhance residents’ quality of life, adopting smart technologies in municipal work, and supporting digital transformation initiatives in the sector. It also emphasized the Kingdom’s smart cities initiatives. Additionally, the program shared its future plans to further improve quality of life and preserve the environment for future generations.
