Jeddah: Sessions on the final day of the 11th Scientific Assembly of the Saudi Society of Emergency Medicine (SASEM 2026) in Jeddah discussed a range of specialized topics, led by quality of care and patient safety, practitioners' legal liability, and the latest developments in pediatric emergencies, critical cases, and accident injuries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the sessions covered ways to improve performance in emergency departments, enhance the patient experience, and promote practices that support patient safety and high-quality medical decisions in rapid-response environments.
They also reviewed the latest practices in diagnosis and rapid therapeutic intervention, as well as ways to enhance medical teams' readiness to handle complex cases.
The sessions were part of the scientific program on the event's final day. The three-day assembly brought together experts and practitioners from within and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
