The Qatar Football Association (QFA) Disciplinary Committee announced Tuesday the penalties following the sixth round of the "Ooredoo Stars League." In a statement, the committee said that it decided to suspend Ahmed Alaa El Din, Al Arabi SC player, for two matches (technical suspension), and a fine of QR 5,000 due to violent play toward the opponent in his team's match with Al Rayyan, based on Article No. /47 - 2 - 1/ of the Disciplinary Regulations for the sports season (2024 - 2025). The committee imposed a fine on Al Ahly SC in the amount of QR 5,000 based on the report of the team's match against Al Shamal, in accordance with Article No. 52 - 1 of the Disciplinary Regulations. The committee also decided to impose a fine of QR 5,000 on Al Duhail SC, due to the absence of the team's players from the television interviews after the end of the match in the sixth round against Al Shahaniya, based on Article No. 58 - 1 of the Disciplinary Regulations. A fine of QR 5,000 was also imposed on Al Sadd SC, based on the report of the team's match against Al Gharafa, in accordance with Article No. 52-1 of the Disciplinary Regulations.
