Qatar Strongly Condemns Storming, Vandalism of Residence of Head of Kuwaiti Military Office, Jordan’s Embassy in Khartoum

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the storming and vandalism of the residence of the head of the military office of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in the Sudanese capital and the headquarters of the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Khartoum, and stressed the need to provide protection for diplomatic missions and to prosecute the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar’s position calling for an immediate end to fighting in Sudan, exercising maximum restraint, resorting to the voice of reason, giving priority to the public interest, and sparing civilians the consequences of the fighting. It also expressed Qatar’s aspiration that all parties pursue dialogue and peaceful ways to overcome differences.
