Qatar Stock Exchange Up 0.09%

Doha, September 03 (QNA) – The Qatar Exchange was in the green area on Monday, adding 7.70 points (or 0.09%) to advance to 8,462.60 points from 8,454.90 Sunday. The volume of the shares traded was up to 52,805,804 from 51,055,492 on Sunday and the value of shares increased to QR1,143,242,805.57 from QR1,099,717,983.34 Sunday. Among the top gainers were Qatar Islamic Bank which was up 0.39% to QR78.00, Barwa real estate company rose 0.88% to QR28.50, Al khalij Commercial Bank  gained 0.46% to QR17.36 and Gulf International up by 0.55% to QR27.45.
The Banking and Financial sector index was up 2.01 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 16.19 points. The industrial sector rose by 3.04  points while insurance sector added 3.65 points. (QNA)
