Doha, August 15 (QNA) – Qatar Exchange was pursued its upswing trend Wednesday adding 2.79 points (or 0.03%) to advance to 8,421.08 points from 8,418.29 Tuesday. The volume of the shares traded was fell to 51,119,089 from 54,508,793 on Tuesday and the value of shares down to QR1,092,027,264.98 from QR1,207,581,680.30 Tuesday. Among the top gainers were International Islamic Bank which was up 1.32% to QR49.95, Doha Bank rose 0.52% to QR58.00, Al khalij Commercial Bank gained 1.05% to QR17.30 and Al Khaleej Takaful up by 2.04% to QR47.45.
Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 0.79% to QR137.40 , Qatar Telecom lost 0.28% to QR105.40, Islamic Insurance fell 0.52% to QR57.00 and tar Fuel down 0.41% to QR240.00.
The Banking and Financial sector index was added 4.81 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index dropped by 0.59 points. The industrial sector was lost 8.56 points while insurance sector rose 2.51 points.(QNA)
