DOHA: The leadership of Qatar has extended their congratulations to Saudi Arabia on the successful bid to host the 2034 World Cup. The Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, sent congratulatory messages to both the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Amir's congratulatory notes were dispatched in recognition of Saudi Arabia's achievement in securing the event. Additionally, Qatar's Deputy Amir, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, along with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, sent similar messages to King Salman and the Crown Prince. The cables conveyed their felicitations on the Kingdom's successful bid to host the global football tournament in 2034.
