Qatar Exchange Down 0.17%

Doha, August 28 (QNA) – The Qatar Exchange was down on Tuesday 14.64 points or 0.17% to 8,483.59 points from the previous closing of  8,498.23.  The volume of shares traded was up to 55,309,489 from 51,524,589 Monday, and the value of shares increased to QR1,286,265,590.96 from QR1,132,584,454.10  Monday.
 Among the top losers were Electricity and Water whose share dropped 0.81% to QR135.10 , Qatar Telecom lost 1.28 to QR107.60, Al Kaleej Takaful fell 2.47% to QR45.50 and Islamic Insurance down 0.68% to QR58.10.
Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 0.51 points while the Insurance sector fell 1.24 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 4.53 points and the Services sector down 11.87 points. (QNA)
