The methods for utilizing these materials vary based on their specific characteristics and application needs. Traditional applications include the creation of handicrafts. Artisan Saleh Al-Abboudi noted that working with palm materials involves a process of selecting, cleaning, drying, and preparing the raw material before shaping it into the intended product. There are also potential applications for manufacturing fiberboards, organic fertilizers, animal feed, and bioenergy. Additionally, lower-grade dates can be used to produce date derivatives, helping to reduce food loss. Investment opportunities in Qass im include establishing facilities to process waste into fertilizers, animal feed, and wood alternatives.
