Qassim: Under the directives of Governor of Qassim Region Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Qassim residents' Iftar project is held on King Fahd Road to promote the values of solidarity and compassion during Ramadan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project provides daily iftar meals throughout the holy month to more than 600 fasting travelers and passersby, operating within an organized system that ensures meal quality, safe distribution, and smooth traffic flow at the site.
The project is implemented by a group of supervisors and organizational staff, in addition to volunteer teams working collaboratively to ensure service is delivered appropriately. Short religious and awareness messages are also delivered by preachers accredited by the branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in the region, addressing the virtues of the holy month, travel etiquette, and the importance of making use of seasons of goodness, in a way that enhances the faith-based and humanitarian impact of the initiative.
