Qassim: Qassim Region Municipality has completed the King Abdulaziz Road pedestrian walkway project in Al-Fawara Municipality as part of its efforts to enhance the urban landscape and develop public facilities that encourage residents to engage in sports and recreational activities. The project also aims to create an attractive urban environment that meets the needs of both residents and visitors.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the 920-meter walkway features more than 3,500 square meters of green space and over 950 planted trees, contributing to increased vegetation cover and an enhanced urban landscape.
The project includes 40 parking spaces, 52 decorative lighting poles, and decorative screens inspired by Al-Fawara's identity, covering a total area of 1,750 square meters. It also features a children's playground spanning approximately 680 square meters.
