Qassim: The Qassim Municipality and its affiliated municipalities across the governorates finalized their preparations to welcome the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH through a package of field, service, and inspection initiatives aimed at creating a festive Ramadan atmosphere and enhancing quality of life across the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, preparations included the installation of decorative structures and Ramadan-themed welcoming messages along roads, squares, and public spaces, reflecting the spirit of the holy month and adding a distinctive spiritual ambiance to the urban landscape. Parks, gardens, and public facilities that witness increased turnout from families during Ramadan also were readied.
Qassim Municipality spokesperson Naif Al-Nafiei stated that the municipality intensified its inspection and health plans in conjunction with the advent of Ramadan by assigning health inspectors to conduct extensive field tours of kitchens, restaurants, cafeterias, markets, and food and sweets outlets to ensure compliance with health regulations and guarantee the safety of food products offered.
Markets and shopping centers across the region witnessed a noticeable rise in purchasing activity in recent days ahead of Ramadan, as Saudi families prepare a variety of traditional dishes and food items for the holy month.
The increased activity comes as part of families' preparations to welcome the month of fasting in a spiritual atmosphere with comprehensive arrangements, while seeking to purchase necessities at the best available prices and offers.
