Geneva: The Qassim Health Cluster participated in the 2026 International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva with two innovations in the fields of safety and medical technology, earning two international medals and two special awards.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the cluster won a silver medal for developing a smart warning device for swimming pools, invented by Sanad Al-Anazi. The device uses artificial intelligence to detect potential drowning incidents at an early stage, helping reduce accidents and enhance safety in swimming environments.

The same invention also received two special international recognitions: an innovation award from Taiwan and the French Federation of Inventors, acknowledging the solution's technical value and its role in improving safety and preventing drowning incidents.

In addition, the smart high-flow oxygen therapy system (AI-HFOM), invented by Naif Al-Anazi, won the bronze medal. The system analyzes a patient's breathing patterns and automatically adjusts oxygen flow in real time using artificial intelligence, improving the efficiency of respiratory therapy.

The participation reflects the Qassim Health Cluster's commitment to fostering innovation, empowering its innovators, and developing technological solutions that enhance healthcare quality and patient safety. The achievement aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which promotes innovation and technological advancement in the health sector.
