Riyadh: The Hajj and Umrah Prosecution has concluded investigations with expatriates accused of publishing deceptive advertisements offering fake Hajj services and selling forged Adahi Vouchers, leading to their arrest and the seizure of counterfeit items and cash.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the suspects were referred to the competent court, where prosecutors are seeking penalties including imprisonment, fines, and confiscation in accordance with the law.
The Public Prosecution reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing anyone who attempts to defraud pilgrims or violate their rights. It urged the public to strictly adhere to Hajj regulations and to avoid falling victim to fraudulent and misleading advertisements.
