The Public Security Directorate (PSD) is participating in the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference SOFEX 2024, which was inaugurated Tuesday under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF). The PSD pavilion stands out with its display of advanced weapons, equipment, and military missions designed to enhance security and humanitarian operations. This includes advancements for the police, civil defense, and gendarmerie forces. Brigadier General Mohammad Abbadi, Director of the PSD exhibition, highlighted that this year's pavilion features cutting-edge devices and equipment developed by the directorate's specialized teams. These innovations include technical and smart mechanisms aimed at improving public service delivery. Abbadi emphasized that these advancements align with the modernization efforts to enhance the PSD's capabilities, in accordance with the directives of His Majesty the King. The implementation of these direct ives is being closely monitored by Public security director Major-General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah. In conjunction with the exhibition, the Public Security Directorate Museum in Aqaba is also open to SOFEX visitors, official delegations, and the public. The museum showcases historical collections that trace the evolution of public security in Jordan from its inception to the present day, reflecting the Hashemite leadership's commitment to strengthening security and serving citizens.
