Medina: In his Friday sermon at the Prophet's Mosque today, Imam Sheikh Hussein Al Al-Sheikh urged Muslims to seize the immense opportunity of the final 10 nights of Ramadan, emphasizing that they offer a unique chance for the multiplication of good deeds and the forgiveness of past sins through faith-driven prayer.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the imam reflected on the Sunnah, explaining that the Prophet (peace be upon him) would intensify his devotion during this period by staying up at night and encouraging his family to do the same.
The imam warned against negligence, the wasting of precious time on unproductive activities, and the distraction of communication devices during periods of worship. He concluded by calling for sincere repentance and a return to the core purpose of mosques: prayer and the recitation of the Quran.
He also reminded the congregation that failing to seek forgiveness during this blessed month is a profound deprivation of goodness.
