Riyadh: Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Princess Seetah bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work will honor the winners of the 12th edition on February 16 in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the award ceremony will be attended by Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Princess Seetah bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work.
This year, 10 individuals will be recognized for their contributions to social work. Additionally, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) will be honored as the distinguished guest at the ceremony, acknowledging its global humanitarian, charitable, and developmental initiatives.
Award Secretary-General Dr. Fahd Hamad Al-Maghlouth highlighted the importance of recognizing and honoring individuals and organizations, including government bodies, charitable foundations, and private sector contributors, for their humanitarian and national efforts. He also emphasized the government's dedication to social responsibility and the promotion of social work as a pillar in fostering community development and unity.
