Asunci³n: Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) Prince Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed has attended the opening ceremony of the 2025 Junior Pan American Games (ASU2025), held in the Paraguayan capital, Asunci³n. President of Paraguay Santiago Pe±a Palacios attended the event.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ASU2025 will run until August 17, featuring the participation of more than 4,200 athletes representing 41 countries. Competitors will take part in 28 sports and 302 competitions, making it one of the most prominent sporting events across the Americas. The event aims to support young talents and promote cultural and sporting exchange among the participating countries.
During his visit to Paraguay, Prince Fahad bin Jalawi met with President of Panam Sports Neven Ilic and President of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee Camilo P©rez L³pez Moreira. Discussions focused on ways to develop bilateral relations between SOPC and its Paraguayan counterpart, as well as enhancing opportunities for cooperation and exchange of expertise across various sports fields.
