Cairo: President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz chaired yesterday the 21st board of trustees meeting of ACCD and the third board of directors meeting of the Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND) in Cairo. During the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz expressed his pride in the Arab world's dedication to the important issues of childhood and civil society.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Abdulaziz stated, "Even as the world experiences rapid transformations and intricate regional and international challenges, there remains a strong conviction in our ability to achieve the anticipated developmental impact. This can be achieved by combining time-tested traditional development approaches, which build societal trust with vital modern tools such as digital technology, communication platforms, and artificial intelligence."
AGFUND and ACCD signed two support agreements with the goals of enabling the council to pursue its mission and implement its programs, and empowering the Arab child to engage positively with climate change and desertification issues.
