Jeddah: President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of the Republic of Senegal departed Jeddah today after performing Umrah. He was seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Makkah Region Deputy Governor Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz and a number of senior officials.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit by President Faye was marked by religious observances as he undertook the pilgrimage in the holy city of Makkah. His departure was attended by dignitaries who gathered to bid farewell to the Senegalese leader, highlighting the cordial relations between the two nations.
