Riyadh: President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas has congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the occasion of Founding Day.
According to Saudi Press Agency, President Abbas sent a cable to King Salman underscoring the significance of Founding Day, highlighting the historical, cultural, and civilizational depth of the Kingdom. The message emphasized the goals that strengthen Saudi Arabia’s deep roots, reinforce the relationship between the people and their leadership, and establish unity, stability, and security. The cable also noted the steadfastness of the Saudi State in defending the homeland and applauded the achievements in promoting development and prosperity within the framework of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, as well as its prominent regional and international status.
The President expressed his wishes for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ success in fulfilling the aspirations of the Kingdom and its people. He reiterated pride in the historical and solid relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and expressed appreciation for the Kingdom’s unwavering support of the Palestinian people in building their independent state with sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its continuous efforts to gain recognition of the State of Palestine.
Additionally, President Abbas extended his well-wishes for the continued good health and happiness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and for further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom, its government, and people.
President Abbas also sent congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the anniversary of Founding Day. In his cable to HRH the Crown Prince, President Abbas reaffirmed his pride in the historical bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing his commitment to strengthening these ties for the mutual benefit of both countries and their brotherly peoples.
