Mecca: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque inaugurated an educational and enrichment center at the Saudi Riwaq, marking its first establishment of its kind. This initiative aims to enhance religious awareness services for pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque by offering resources in multiple languages, thereby enriching their spiritual experiences. The center will provide translated religious books focusing on rituals, interpretations, and supplications.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, emphasized the significance of selecting the Saudi Riwaq for the inauguration of this educational enrichment center. He highlighted the Riwaq as an Islamic architectural achievement that represents the message of Islam's moderation and tolerance. Furthermore, he noted that in alignment with the operational plan for the 1446 AH Hajj season, the presidency has enhanced the enrichment pathways of awareness centers in the Grand Mosque, providing services in multiple languages.
Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais further revealed that more than 100 educational and enrichment centers will be launched throughout the Grand Mosque during this year's Hajj season. Each center will distribute translated copies of the Holy Quran in various global languages and offer instructional, guiding, awareness-raising, and educational booklets. These resources will cover topics such as correct creed, Hajj and Umrah rituals, intellectual security, and the moderation of Islam.
